I arrange my buffbars too show cds under 30 sec.
Then all buffs over 30 sec arent shown as most of them arent relevant for me to track constantly. Like cappy motivate/crit.
Mostly tracking short duration buffs as those tend to matter way more. Fleetness, procs,SI,Blade bro etc. un filtered buffbars will fill your screen top to bottom and will prob get you killed.
Tonic bars just gives me more customizable quickslots. I need em for mostly gear and swap LIs. Even buffs. Hate opening bags and playing wheres my Prudence.

What I did on warden about buffbars, i set it up to show only specific buffs. I removed all but "All Buffs" -filter, went to spar a dummy and did all my heals and self buffs i want to keep a track on. When buff shows up right-click it on the buffbars and "add trigger." Finally go to options and remove "All Buffs" and you only see those you added manually.
On other toons i don't use buffs at all, i only have debuffs visible. A really good way to know you are standing in caltrops or something, sometimes the area marking is really faint.
Also remember to always accept changes in every window you have about this plugin, had countless times potions set up and then forgot to accept and had to do it again.
