My boss' company MakeItApp has recently made, well, and app
It's a funny deckbuilding game based on football (YES!!! I said FOOTBALL, not Soccer!!!) that simulates one football season, where you play the role of coach.
Starting with base players, you have to deploy their energies in the various competitions. You can choose to attend one of the five major European leagues: Italian, English, Spanish, French and German.
It's a free app, for the moment available only in Appstore (so for the moment it's available only to iOS 6.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5 and the recent update full support iOS 7) but I've been told they are planning to go on Android market as well.
There are various game modes (Solo, Online Asynchronous, Pass&Play and Bluetooth or Wifi Local Real Time) and the languages are Italian and English (soon will be added French, German, Spanish and Mexican as well).
There are various decks, each with their playing style and points of strength/weakness. You start with basic cards and you earn more powerful ones while you play. Ofc you can still buy the cards you want from the start, but as any f2p game all can be gathered with time
There seems to be a really good mechanism where, if 2 people share a code, they both gain 50 credits which can be used to buy immediately the more powerful cards instead of waiting.
Here some images ;)
and my favourite
