In LOTRO forums there is announcement about the time of the downtime.

Scheduled Downtime Monday November 18

On Monday November 18^th, all LOTRO Game worlds will be brought down at 6:00 AM Eastern time (-5 GMT) as we prepare for the release of the Helm’s Deep expansion. In addition, the LOTRO Store will be taken down at 5:00AM Eastern (-5GMT).

Release notes will be made available during the downtime.

Ah so it is Monday! No estimate time to be up as usual, I'm betting its up and more or less functional by the end of the day :P

They never do... when RoI expansion came i wondered the same in their forum as long as some other ppl why there wasnt a estimate at least, reply we got from Sapience was: "servers will be up when they are up"

LOL they already started, someone asked about downtime in lotro twitter, got this reply:

"As with previous expansions, the servers will come up when they come up. "

So they took a head-start to the downtime. DDO, LOTRO and forums are down 5 pm servertime sunday. Did someone trip over the wrong cord? Angry Beta-tester got furious and unleashed some nasty computer attack on servers? Turbine forgot to pay the server room bills? Who knows. What do you think?

6:50PM Update: Due to a power issue at our datacenter, all services within the datacenter lost power. For unknown reasons, the backup power systems did not properly come online causing all services to lose power and go offline.
