What some people don't realize as that you can cast some skills while repairing stuff, for example heal a banner while repairing. The other day was doing this and tried some different RK heals, not all work though. Also focus on those damn sappers, they can burn banners easily.

I always command one or two archer-captains to focus on sappers (officer R3 if i remember correctly), after that banners are hardly an issue. Also remember that every healing skill can be used to heal banners, statues, barricades or anything that has morale bar in them. Before i got my officer up having waterlore on banners made quite a difference. When setting up catapults having waterlore on it speeds up the uilding process, too.

I place tripwire traps on nice spots where i can get many enemies stunned for aoe. Switching between officer/engineer has been most useful for me, but havent even tried out vanguard.

After setting up catapults or ballista if you are going to use them, grab a barricade and drop it at helpful spot when you get sidequest like blocking culvert, protect archers, watchtower, or just about anything.

A tip that might seem obvious... First time you achieve a medal with a toon it seems you get a bonus of 5 medals of the same type, meaning if you achieve a platinum the first time you get in fact 6 platinum points, so I'd recommend if you're not far from 95 to save up your HD runs till you hit the cap so you can get your 95 end game gear slightly faster.

Anyone figured out when and how much engineer/officer/vanguard points you get ?

Always set target to sappers
Use 2h when in between side quests
Sometimes i switch to shield when doing sidequests
Place barracades to block incoming waves
Place ballistas to point blank fire the barracades- massive splash damage
Tripwire the barracades to stun attacking waves(as you aoe with ballista)
Someone should almost always be at the catapults(if applicable)

Champs tend to make very good vanguards. Waves get downed so fast on top of the catapults ranging incoming waves in the distance.

Look around ALOT. Sometimes you miss random things.
Specially that one quest where you have to prevent totems(Deeping Wall)
Speaking of deeping wall, placing a ballista to point blank aoe the attackers in the tower(where they blow up supplies) is an easy way of killing the spawning waves.

How high in engineer ranks you need to be to get this good? :D Any special traits you'd put points in particular?

For Lore-masters:
use the skill of Spirit pet to heal the soldiers of 10% of their morale.
Set the skill on auto-fire by right clicking it.
Then you can put in the quicslot bar:
-the summoning skill
-the alias to dismiss the pet
(type in the chat /alias shortcut /pet release #
where # is the number of the slot in the bars you want to the alias in:

By using those 2 commands you can easilly spam the heals to nearby soldiers and fellows.
